Please read all of the instructions below before submitting your nursing application.
Please ensure that you meet the admission requirements and will complete all the prerequisite courses below by the end of spring semester of the application year. Below are resources that you can use to determine if the courses you have taken (or will schedule) are equivalent to Nursing’s prerequisite courses. NOTE: The College of Nursing does NOT accept courses that transfer in to Ohio State as General, Special or Technical. (Applies to most credit from out-of-state-schools.) These courses would need further evaluation by the Transfer Credit Coordinator in the subject department. The College of Nursing will not notify applicants of unmet prerequisite courses; these applicants will not be considered for admission.

If you find that your course(s) would transfer in to Ohio State as General, Special, or Technical, please open this link and follow the directions to have your course(s) evaluated to determine course equivalency. We recommend that you contact the subject department early as the re-evaluation process may take several weeks. The results of the credit re-evaluation should be sent to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
